Student Guidelines

Brigifi is committed to creating a secure and supportive environment for all students. As a mentee, adhering to the following safety guidelines will help ensure a positive mentorship experience:

1. Personal Safety:

Guard Personal Information: Do not share sensitive personal information such as your home address, financial details, or passwords with your mentor or anyone else on the platform.

Verify Communication Channels: Communicate with your mentor only through Brigifi’s official channels to maintain security.

2. Code of Conduct:

Respect and Politeness: Treat mentors with respect and maintain a professional tone in all communications.

No Harassment: Avoid using offensive or inappropriate language in your interactions.

3. Engagement Boundaries:

Defined Interaction Hours: Set clear boundaries for mentorship sessions, ensuring communication occurs within reasonable hours.

Consent for Recording: If sessions are to be recorded, ensure you’ve provided clear consent beforehand.

4. Reporting Concerns:

Incident Reporting: Report any behavior from mentors or other platform users that makes you uncomfortable or violates the guidelines. Use the reporting tools provided or contact support@brigify.org.

Grievance Officer: For unresolved issues, you may escalate complaints to Brigifi’s designated Grievance Officer as per Indian legal standards.

5. Avoid Unlawful Activities:

No Solicitation: Do not engage in activities like promoting commercial ventures, recruitment drives, or any unlawful actions via the platform.

Compliance with Laws: Ensure that your use of the platform aligns with Indian laws and regulations, including the IT Act and related rules.

6. Platform Usage:

Approved Activities: Use the platform solely for mentorship and educational purposes. Avoid misusing the platform for unauthorized activities.

Account Security: Keep your login credentials private. Notify Brigifi immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. Feedback and Suggestions:

Constructive Feedback: Share your feedback about the mentorship program or platform features through Brigifi’s feedback channels.

Content Sharing: Ensure any opportunities or blogs you share are accurate, ethical, and comply with Brigifi’s content guidelines.

Termination of Participation:

Students may choose to discontinue their mentorship relationship by informing their mentor and Brigifi’s support team. Persistent violations of the guidelines may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.
